Remi Winner at The Oldest International Film Festival

Again, this year #66 won the prestigious Platinum Remi Award at the 49th WorldFest-Houston International Independent Film Festival 2016, Texas. It was screened as a World Premiere and was the only Indonesian feature film that won an award at the festival.

WorldFest-Houston is the longest running film festival in the world and the third oldest international film festival in North America, this year more than 4,300 category entries in all film and video competitions, from 74 nations and less than 12% of submitted entries placed for WorldFest Remi awards. It became the third competitive international film festival in North America, following San Francisco and New York.  The festival also discovered Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, Ridley Scott, Robert Rodriguez (among others) by giving them their very first awards.

#66 screened on April 13th, 2016 at 9pm.
